Light

Beautiful,

When your Heavenly Father created the earth he did something very interesting. Before God created anything, before he even started forming, molding, sculpting and perfecting. He did something very simple but extremely powerful.

 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was formless and empty, and darkness covered the deep waters. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters.

 Then God said, "Let there be light," and there was light.  And God saw that the light was good. Then he separated the light from the darkness. God called the light "day" and the darkness "night."

   And evening passed and morning came, marking the first day. Genesis 1:1-5 NLT

He acknowledged that the earth was empty and formless.

Does your life feel empty?

He saw that nothing existed and nothing could be seen.

Do you feel that nothing good could possibly exist in your darkness?

He acknowledged that his hand was needed.

Have you acknowledged Gods hand is needed in your life?

God did something that caused the darkest and most vacant places to come into light.

He spoke his very first words, "Let there be Light".

Beautiful Daughter, Let there be light in your life.

Before God could sculpt and carefully orchestrate every detail of the world to perfection he needed his Light to shine on all the dark empty places. He needed the darkness to be exposed. Before God could create and shape the universe he needed to expose what needed his hand.

Once Gods light exposed the entire world, he never said that there was any part of the world that could not be crafted and made into something beautiful. Gods Light allowed every part of the emptiness to be transformed and used for his Glory. God can and will use every empty, dark and desolate place in your life. He will make something beautiful out of your darkness.

The Word gave life to everything that was created,
and his life brought light to everyone.
The light shines in the darkness,
and the darkness can never extinguish it. John 1:4-5 NLT

When you allow God to shine his light on the darkest places of your life you give him the opportunity to start creating something beautiful out of your mess.

This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. 1 John 1:5-7 NIV

God is light. When Jesus enters the darkest areas of your life his light will enlighten and bring you clarity where there was once confusion. Where you have felt blinded, lost and hopeless his light will bring vision and hope that your darkest moments will be turned into your greatest testimony.

Don't look too close for blemishes, give me a clean bill of health. God, make a fresh start in me, shape a Genesis week from the chaos of my life.  Psalm 51:9 Message

God wants to shape a genesis week from your life, he wants to begin with shedding his magnificent light into the depths of your soul. He wants the incredible opportunity to shape, mold and create something beautiful out of your emptiness.
