Mask

Beautiful,

Are you wearing a mask today?

What areas of your life are you struggling with at the moment?

The things behind our masks are usually our hidden struggles.

Are you fearful?

Are you holding unforgiveness?

Are you prideful?

What is hiding behind your mask? What are you covering up that God can still see?

Is it shame that you are hiding?

 Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame. Psalm 34:5 NIV

What are you allowing to be hidden in the darkness that is holding you back from your potential in God?

Beautiful Daughter, do you realize that by hiding your weaknesses you are not allowing God the incredible opportunity to show his strength through you.

To keep me from becoming conceited because of these surpassingly great revelations, there was given me a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me. Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 Corinthians 12 7-10 NIV

God knew when he created you that you would struggle. He created you to need him. He created you to need a Savior to save you.

By hiding behind a mask of perfection you take away the ability to truly let the Blood of Jesus transform and restore you.

Take off your mask beautiful. Only in your weakness can he show himself strong for you.
